Brainrot Lab Tycoon is a simulation tycoon game where players rebuild a laboratory, unlock stronger blasters, and venture into the city to cure infected Brainrots and turn them back into citizens. The game combines classic tycoon progression with combat, exploration, and cooperative boss battles to create a more active and story-driven experience.
I designed the project around the idea of making a tycoon feel more interactive than traditional base-building games. As players expand their lab, they unlock better equipment and upgrades that directly impact gameplay outside the tycoon, creating a loop centered on building, upgrading, and using those tools in the world.
To make the experience more memorable, I leaned into a humorous and chaotic theme with silly Brainrot enemies, mutated bosses, and a playful visual style. I also built the game around co-op play, allowing players to team up with friends as they expand their lab and progress toward stronger equipment and upgrades.
